When Maria Kim was growing up, she loved to make up characters and draw comics for the children she was babysitting. But it wasn’t until she had her own two children that she decided to pursue her childhood passion. Maria is the mother of two beautiful boys, a wife to an extraordinary husband, and has deep passion for her work. Maria is an art director, and has over 12 years experience working at advertising companies such as Draftfcb, G2, and JWT. While taking time off from work to take care of her young children, she came up with games and activities for her boys to play with. Eventually, she came up with the JookaPooka & Friends characters. Everything you see on the site is created by Maria and approved by her boys.
